My main role involves co-ordinating GP Education run here at CMEC. This includes the GP 3 Day Course which is held twice a year and attracts around 70 GPs from all parts of the country. The GP Luncheon Clubs held every Thursday for local GPs. The ENSPIRAL project, a protected learning time scheme for Primary Care staff when each practice closes on their specified date once a month, during term time and the whole team are invited to attend the sessions which are held either here at CMEC or at their own surgeries. I am the Administrator for the ATLS Courses run here three times a year. We take sixteen participants for each course and there is always a high demand for places so please put forward your name if you would like to go on the waiting list and receive an application form. I deal with all the sponsorship for our educational programmes and usually open the book up to medical representatives in August for the Autumn/Winter term and December for the Winter/Spring term.
