The aims and objectives of the GP curriculum

The aims and objectives of the General Practice training are to:

1. Ensure the highest standards of General Practice in the UK by delivering first class GP training.
2. Ensure trainees receive a balanced programme of education.

How you complete the General Practice curriculum

This GP curriculum is competency based and leads to the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). You will be supported during your time at Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust by your Programme Lead, an allocated Educational Supervisor, and Clinical Supervisors, all of whom will give you regular feedback about your progress. You should never be in any doubt about your progress and what you can do to improve this.
